The smile just never went away. Praising God for a huge blessing would be an understatement. Yesterday, I spoke with a new friend, Tony Colvin from Austin Christian Fellowship on the phone about used church equipment. God has blessed this church so they are now in a permanent building reaching many families and generously gave us thousands of dollars worth of equipment including a 48 channel sound board, cases, computer, compressors, and e.q.’s. The cool thing is one of our pastors listed some of the exact equipment down to the model numbers on our wish list. During prayer Monday morning, our launch team prayed for God to provide because of the big expenses. Jesus straight up answered prayer.

Drew Witt, Michael Fleck, and I drove back and named the massive board – Manna – in our honor of the bread God provided out of the sky to feed the Israelites while they were in the wilderness. We are so humbled by our new friends’ generosity and it was a much needed reminder that God is in this church plant.

Tony started out as the sound guy while working in sales management for Dell and is now the Creative Arts Director. We learned so much from this team as they introduced us to the world’s greatest bbq – Rudy’s. I can’t wait until we are in a position to return the favor and freely bless another church plant too!   I learned that when God gives people opportunities to be generous it is a reward for faithfulness and a cause to celebrate.
